The very first thing you are going to notice about the MakerBot Replicator 2 is that it has been rigorously engineered to produce amazingly high definition 3D prints with 100 µm layer resolution inside of a large enough build volume to produce most any scale prototype you can imagine.
The 100 µm layer resolution not only promises to provide you with crystal clear finished products (with whatever finishing and texture you would like to create), but also guarantees that your print is finished just the way it is when it comes out of the MakerBot Replicator 2.
